• Résumé : The two main objectives of the study were to identify the perceptive role of intonation and voice quality in the identification of emotions and to determine gating points for each studied emotion. A multi-speaker corpus was used for the development of a new perception test on the basis of gating paradigm and transplantation paradigm. The results of the study are discussed in the light of their relevance for the voice synthesis of affective speech.

• Résumé : L'acquisition tardive du langage dans sa composante prosodique a été examinée, à six ans post implant, chez cinq locuteurs enfants sourds profonds prélinguaux, implantés entre 26 et 60 mois. Leurs productions spontanées ont été comparées en fonction de leur âge d'implantation afin de mieux comprendre les mécanismes de plasticité cérébrale pour les opérations langagières. Les enregistrements ont eu lieu dans trois centres d'implantation (Paris, Montpellier et Toulouse). Les résultats mettent en lumière des perturbations rythmiques persistantes chez tous les enfants mais significativement plus importantes dans le groupe d'enfants implantés à 45 et 60 mois que dans le groupe d'enfants implantés à 26, 27 et 37 mois.

• Résumé : Local speech rate is an emergent field in research on prosody. This paper introduces a syllable duration model based on intrinsic syllable duration properties and local speech rate variations. The proposed model is compared to the observed syllable durations and to a standard model in which durations are normalized according to local speech rate only. This comparison shows that our model is i) robust : significant reduction of the observed syllable dispersion, ii) consistant : this reduction comes with reduction of duration dispersion due to the syllable intrisic properties as well as prominence phenomena.
